Laura Wilkinson

I have worked with Sarah for several years at Cotton On. She managed the Cobrands digital design team when I first started as a midweight designer on a maternity leave contract. Through Sarah’s guidance and management I worked my way up to being permanent, then a senior and am now a senior concept designer for Cotton On Body. Sarah is able to see the potential in people and help them work through the areas they need to improve in order to get them to where they want to be. She lifts people up and gives them the tools they need to be more confident and efficient in their role. She is fantastic at building a strong team and encourages her teams to help each other and to build strong connections amongst themselves and other teams within the business. She is fair and direct – always able to deliver actionable and clear feedback. She will always give you her time and is there to help in a crisis or just if you need some guidance. I always knew where I stood and what to work on when managed by Sarah and honestly put much of my success at Cotton On and in my career down to her strong leadership.
